Since I started running as a sport in 2006, I've experienced how we are designed to move, giving me an understanding of running as a movement skill. That opened up a journey that continues to keep challenging the mind and body, a journey that made me fall in love.
Seeking the knowledge of the human body, I went to Physical Therapy School back in Chile, where I am from. This was an opportunity that allowed me run collegiately on the track and field and the cross country teams of the Catholic University of Valparaiso.
Along with this passion, I created a running club in the local community to being able to teach running as a movement skill to new athletes. This experience led me to become the director and eventually the Regional President of the Track and Field Association of Valparaiso, Chile. Having this position, I traveled to Argentina to obtain a IAAF Level 1 Certification of lectures of track and field. After that, in 2014 I was able to attend the IAAF World Indoor Championship in Poland.
After I completed my degree in physical therapy in Chile, I moved to the US, where I am actively challenging my running skills on both the road and trail.
With my background in physical therapy and running experience, I decide to create BETTER MOTION coaching, with the ultimate goal of bringing YOU to the fullest expression of the body in movement.
